Mike Cardenas is the owner and operator at Forza Detailing. The word "Forza" is a translation for "forward" in Italian, and it's a word that has resonated with Mike for more than a decade. Mike started his passion for automobiles at an early age. His father was an avid car enthusiast who sparked an interest in detailing and a pursuit for making cars look amazing. Continuing "forward" with the new detailing movement he helped create over 10 years ago in Northeast Indiana. 

 

As both a nationally and internationally recognized detailer, Mike has been regarded one of the top 20 detailers in North America by Dupont Registry Magazine. Mike has appeared on television shows such as "Competition Ready" on the Velocity Channel and "Detroit Muscle" on the History Channel. Mike also has been featured in magazines, newspapers, podcasts and is a contributing author on "Ask a Pro Blog" for Detailedimage.com. As an officially trained concours judge for the Porsche Club of America, Mike is trained and certified by companies such as Meguiar's, Sonax, Griot's Garage, 22ple, Glassparency, Ceramic Pro and Xpel. He is also Internationally recognized by Sonax Germany as an official authorized detailer, one of only 5 currently in the United States.

The first student of the famed Esoteric Detailer Academy, he conducts workshops and clinics as well as training for both the novice detailer and professional detailer alike. He also assists various companies with the development and testing of upcoming detailing products and has done demonstrations for various companies at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Mike is also a member of the Preservation Team for the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. 

 

With over 20 years of management experience and a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Indiana Tech, Mike serves as a consultant to those who seek assistance in achieving a higher level of performance in their detailing skills and output from their business.  He continues on his goal to contribute to the constantly evolving world of detailing. By providing insight and education on the subject of detailing to both a national and an international audience.  Dictated by passion, patience and professionalism in his work, Mike continues to provide the level of customer service, expertise and quality which built his reputation as one of the best in the industry.
